Sky Is The Limit
Initially, they were unable to understand our plan (obviously, every loser blames the judge and so, i have my reasons!) and when they finally did, they ended up telling us things like: "why do you want to create a website for this? you could easily make a facebook/youtube application for this and in the meantime you can earn a lot more and both you and facebook/youtube will be happy!!!"
After this line, i was like WHAT THE HELL!! are they the same people who told us that day to think big??? lol I just don't get it. Why do they want us to become a subset of facebook? Why is it that believing in a brand new and unique project is feared by most of the experienced investors? First they tell us to think big and then when we do they abruptly stop us. Rightly said by Mr. Bill Gates that successful people start getting an illusion that they can't be defeated. And this is why they deteriorate.

Taste of Potassium Cyanide
People have said that some guys have tasted diluted form of KCN and experienced a bitter taste but I can easily refute this theory. This theory just does not hold water. Why would one drink a diluted solution of KCN in order to determine its taste ? I mean, if 300 mg is needed to kill a person, why would one need to dilute it with water in order to find the taste. Why not just take, lets say 50 mg of undiluted KCN and be done with it ? Diluting KCN in water will only serve one purpose - Making it harder still to determine the taste with certainity. Most of these stories must have been the brainchild of some idle nincompoop grappling with the properties of solutions in physical chemistry trying to apply his half baked ideas to practical applications like this.
So here is my advice to all those who are willing to stake their lives for a better informed society : Try KCN in a smaller dose. I would say 1/5 of the fatal dose. If you are lucky enough, you would be able to tell the taste. There is just no point trying to dilute it with water and then wondering why the hell does the solution tastes like distilled water. The result also depends upon your sensitivity of taste. Mind you, if you cannot taste it, you were just not cut out for it. Don't go 'Well lets have one more spoon and see what happens'. It doesn't have to be an ego point. If your friend performs better, well, tough luck. Don't swell your chest and go 'My mom said if someone can do it, I can too'.
Anyways, I digressed a bit. I was thinking of making a movie plot which would revolve around this special property of KCN. The movie would be 3.5 hours long. It would start with a happy family. Everyone would be leading a perfect life until one fine day the husband discovers that his wife is cheating on him and tension starts to simmer beneath the surface. The wife suspects that he knows. They constantly indulge in quarrels which by the way screw up the children completely. Depression coupled with midlife crisis forces the husband to evaluate his life. He starts looking for ways to make sense of his life which he thinks is going waste. What could he do to make a mark in the world ? How would the world remember his name ? How can he bring a meaningful change to society ? Such are the questions pestering him when he comes upon this unsolved problem of the taste of KCN. Perfect ! He doesn't wanna live anymore. How better to die than dying for the betterment of the society. He figures:
"If not in life, I would be worth atleast in death' (Melodramatic music. Glycerine. Flashbacks of his wife and children).
Ecstatic at this ingenious plan, he moves ahead to bring it to fruition. Last 10 minutes of the movie. He has to tell whether KCN tastes sugary or salty. He has the bottle in his hands. He has a pen in the other hand. A pink coloured, scented paper is lying just below the pen. Orchestral music is slowly reaching a crescendo. There are beads of perspiration on his head. He weighs his judgement again. His children float in front of his eyes. Then his wife. His home. His dreams, happy times. Then the sullen faces of all those millions who lead an unfulfilled life unaware of the taste of KCN and die with only one wish- What the hell does it taste like ? In that moment of intense judgement he decides to die for the social good. He takes a spoonful and transfers it to his mouth. Sudden convulsion grips him instantly. He starts shivering, choking, writhing in pain. He takes the pen and in that last moment of intense concentration writes something down... Police arrive the next day and see the paper. Whats it gonna be. Sugary or Salty? Sugary or Salty? Sugary or Salty? The paper reads:
S
Hu ha ha ha. Hu ha ha ha. My revenge against all those suckers who leave the most important details of a movie 'to the discretion of the viewer'. My foot. How about this ending. Not only is it a kickass story, it also makes sure that millions of manhours are wasted all across the world. Next time when a bunch of friends come out of a David Lynch atrocity, they could atleast console themselves by saying:
"Atleast Lynch didn't pull off a Singh !!"

The 4-year holiday called engineering
1). The lecturers dont teach. The students dont study. The only guy who benefits is the one who owns the 'dhaba' next to the college.
2).Rules are made to be broken.
3).Promises are made to be broken.
4).Deadlines are made to be extended...ALWAYS!
5).Guys always think the chics in the college next lane are more beautiful.
5).The geeks are the most pampered lot during the internal exams.
6).The lab assistants are the most respected people(during the lab exams i.e)
7).The watchmen are the people most bribed.
8).The HOD is the person most respected(heights of sycophancy here).
9).The principal is the person most abused and insulted(behind the back i.e)
10).Dropping subjects is 'cool'.(arre yaar..drop the idea of dropping subjects plzz).
11).There is always a lecturer in the college who cant speak proper 'english'.
12).Night-out is the second most important tool to ace the exams.
13).The most important tool..the bhramastra..is the 'chit' in which the words can be understood only by the person who wrote them(in most of the cases i.e)
14).The freshers are the most sought after..be it in the canteen, the 'free' periods or for completing the records, assignments.
15).The second-years are the ones with the 'I am the don-of-the-college' feeling.
16).The third years are the ones with the 'so-many-backlogs' feeling and the poor souls get down to studying after bossing around in the college for so long.but the fun still continues.
17).The fourth years have no connection with the college whatsoever...with no interest in ragging, pulling each other`s legs, the bday parties, the bday bums et al which they enjoyed so much till now.All they want is a good placement and a '1st-class' tag attached to their memo.
19).The first three years are spent in cursing the college, the people there, the system et al.
20).But towards the end of the fourth year, people tend to feel nostalgic abt the pure unadulterated fun they have had for 4 years. Now the very system they disliked, the very canteen they cursed, the time that they spent there, the bday bums they suffered..all these seem like heaven to them.

Sorta Idiotic Idiots
Speaking the truth, I really liked the movie 3 idiots, but I am a firm 'unsupporter' of Aamir Khan. The reason – I never like overconfident people, and specially those people who think more about themselves. I recently saw a news about the star: he said in media that chetan bhagat has no contributions in the movie and after a huge start, he just wants some kind of publicity, so he is speaking some shit. I don't know how much exclamation marks should I put here to express my feelings!! Should bhagat need any kind of publicity!
Still, people think he is right. The reason – I toh don't know, someone xplain me J

And Here Comes The New Year…
Like it is happening for me from like past 18 years (well, I should say past 12 years, 'cause I was sorta senseless in the initial 6!) I cheered with everyone for the new year, and sometimes also swore to do or to not do something the coming one tenth of a decade. Actually, I never followed it and I don't even think i'll do it in near future! So lets just not speak anything, but keep the resolution (I am talking about the new year resolution) to ourselves… lets try this out!
Lets not depend on the 'may the new year bring you all the….' Kind of things and lets try to convert this may to will. Yes, that's possible… and the ingredients required are also so very affordable… just a bowl of will power and a pinch of courage.
Well, its new year now and i am off celebrating it!

Thes3 Idiots toh is Awesome
Well, I consider myself as one of the biggest critic of Mr. Amir Khan, and there are many reasons for thinking like this which I don't want to elaborate now, but still I am forced to say that his new movie, 3 Idiots is an awesome one and the director should really be appreciated, and why not, he is the one and only who directed Munna Bhai MBBS (sorry if I am wrong, but i think I am not). But as a critic, I am the one who always takes out negative points, and so is what I am gonna do. There was one thing which was shown in a really exaggerated manner, and that is the gentleman nature of Ranchordas i.e. Aamir. They have made him a guy who does everything right, and is never wrong (obviously !) except one line (why can't we use pencils in space?... you'll get to know more after watching that movie). He is a genius... well, I don't have any problem in he being a genius and so on, but the manner, i.e. laughing, playing and never studying (just few nuts and screws with few machine) in which he excels in exams is toh filmon me hi ho sakta haiJ.
Anywys, if we accept these fictious things and also try to digest the last suspense (not actually suspense, but whatever this is, let it be confidential!), then it is a worth watching movie, totally paisa vasool !!! So, go and watch the movie at the first place. I guarantee you won't return disappointed, and thats for sure.
My rating to the movie (Which any way doesn't matter): 3 Idiots
Aamir Khan and Kareena Kapoor:
4/5.
Media and Death!!
Dec 23rd, 2009.
Well, this is the only thing which more than 40% of Indians want just after their sweet snooze is finished. Perceptibly, i am talking about the Newspapers. "It's impossible for me to live without newspapers", is few of the countless statements which can be made by those people. Now, i am aware about these things for the reason that i was one of those before some time, precisely, when i was in Kota, I didn't give a damn to anything until i got my TOI.
Well, we always think (and are still thinking) that these rag -people do a very good thing by giving us all those news which we read, but if someone asked me to guess those peoples who can be unaware of all the things happening in the state, then my answer, without any dilly-dallying would be none other than – The Mediapersons. The biggest reason: They are so keen in finding other news around the nation that they forget about the news which they themselves brought few moments earlier. They literally have nothing to do with the news they brought just now. And yes, if we think doctors are the only one who can see deceased-bodies very easily, then once again, mediapersons take the lead here. Once again the same reason: They really don't care! What if those people are dead, what did i gain or lose? – Nothing. Then why should i care! Obviously, they are quite correct. This is the mentality of almost all the mediapersons. And nevermind, they were the same from decades, obviously except very few – which can be said 'extinct'. It's very easy for them to speak like: "fifty people dead", or "five hundred wounded";
I was recently watching a TV interview of Aamir Khan with a journalist (who i am sure was in a different news channel the last time i saw him) in a sort of 30 minutes show. One of the annoying things which i saw in that interview was that the journalist was never interested in listening in the answers which Aamir Khan gave, rather, he was searching for the next question which he can impose on the actor as soon as he finishes his present answer. But yes, he keenly listened to those answers in which he can cross question the star. Seriously speaking, these guys are one of the emotionless living being in the universe. "Sorry to interrupt you sir... but what is...", is something which we will frequently listen in any shows, but think again... are they really sorry to break off? The answer is an utter NO, without any doubt.
Remember 'tehelka'? These are those guys who, the first time in Indian history took a secret camera and wedged someone taking bribe; Actually, they themselves were the people who gave bribe, i don't know whether what they did was correct or not, but yeah, this became a sort of tendency after that, if some channel's not getting good news, the best thing to do is to go to any government establishment (obviously with a secret camera) and give the concerned guy a huge amount of money as inducement – there you go! Now we have a Breaking News for our channel, awesome. Well, now these guys are also too smart!! And so the news-people are not really able to get these footage now-a-days. So what to do now – yes, lets make a show like 'movie masala', and also another show in which we can give an account of all the saas-bahu serials going on today, eureka, our news channel is really growing. And if people are bored from this too – compile news with the topic 'end of the world' and show it 3 times an hour. Now who'll stop this channel from mounting!!
Well, almost all of us are now sentient of the fact that this is what is happening from many years, and the biggest quandary – people like this too, which gives a boost to news channels putting these stuffing more. But as we say, lotus is very easily able to grow, in spite of all the mud around it, in a similar way, we have our conventional Doordarshan, the best channel all across, with no intension of escalating its TRP, it still stands alone and unique with its quality and true news, and therefore, we can very easily say that – yes we can rely on you. So, give away your dilemma and catch up with the latest flick in Doordarshan, that's all i can say!!
Tips And Tricks!!
Well, in this case i am talking about your computer, you can obviously be a little smarter from your mates by doing some very simple things. There are few tricks which i can tell you:
Temporary files can make a hell lot of problem for you, you can minimize it to zero very easily and after that, just no need to bother about it. After you follow these simple steps, windows will automatically delete all the temporary files as soon as you start up your computer. Here are those steps:
1: Create a folder SysImp in for system drive (It generally is C:\ in most of the cases}.
2: Now open notepad, you can do this by:
2.1: Searching it somewhere in the start menu.
2.2: Or by opening 'Run' (Press windows key + r to open it, or you can see it directly as soon as you click on start button, if you use xp) and then typing in it : 'notepad.exe' or only 'notepad' (without
the quotes).
3: Now in the notepad text box, write:
"cd C:\
Users\%username%\
AppData\Local
Rmdir /S /Q Temp"
without the double quotes and replace the 'username' with the username of your system.
4: Now save it with the name "tempclean.bat" this time WITH the double quotes and at the folder which you just created (sysimp).
5: Now open the scheduled tasks in the control panel (xp) or the task scheduler (windows 7) and set this program (tempclean.bat) to execute in every reboot.
6: There you go, you should no more bother about your temporary folders.
IF USING WINDOWS 7, YOU CAN DEcrease the shutdown time by doing some simple steps:
Disclaimer: The author is not responsible for any damage whatsoever happened to your system by following the below trick. Readers follow this by their own will. The author also recommends backing up the registry before editing it through the system restore utility.
1: Open run, press windows key + r.
2: Now type regedit, this opens a registry editor window (after this, do exactly as written, as mishandling may lead to crashing of your system).
3: Now in the window, open HKEY_LOCAL_MACHILE, now move to SYSTEM, then move on to CONTROL, now see in the right side of the dialog box you will see WaitToKillTimeOutService. Right click and click on modify. Change the value from default 12000 (12 seconds) to 5000 (5 seconds). Close the editor and see yourself by shutting down your computer.
(Well, I recommend not decreasing the value less than 5000, as it can close many programs before it is saved.

Q: Then why the hell is it set to 12000? Will it not make problem to my system if I do this?
Ans: Well, thats because those Microsoft guys want to be at a safer side, and if you still think it can make problem, just reboot your computer and check the conditions of your system, if it doesn't look good, change it back to its original state! Easy.
Well, i think the length is increasing a bit, so thats all for now, more next time.
And yes, for all those guys who are more interested in the fact that where did I get all these... please sirjee... change your attitude!
