Thes3 Idiots toh is Awesome

Well, I consider myself as one of the biggest critic of Mr. Amir Khan, and there are many reasons for thinking like this which I don't want to elaborate now, but still I am forced to say that his new movie, 3 Idiots is an awesome one and the director should really be appreciated, and why not, he is the one and only who directed Munna Bhai MBBS (sorry if I am wrong, but i think I am not). But as a critic, I am the one who always takes out negative points, and so is what I am gonna do. There was one thing which was shown in a really exaggerated manner, and that is the gentleman nature of Ranchordas i.e. Aamir. They have made him a guy who does everything right, and is never wrong (obviously !) except one line (why can't we use pencils in space?... you'll get to know more after watching that movie). He is a genius... well, I don't have any problem in he being a genius and so on, but the manner, i.e. laughing, playing and never studying (just few nuts and screws with few machine) in which he excels in exams is toh filmon me hi ho sakta haiJ.

Anywys, if we accept these fictious things and also try to digest the last suspense (not actually suspense, but whatever this is, let it be confidential!), then it is a worth watching movie, totally paisa vasool !!! So, go and watch the movie at the first place. I guarantee you won't return disappointed, and thats for sure.

Media and Death!!

Well, this is the only thing which more than 40% of Indians want just after their sweet snooze is finished. Perceptibly, i am talking about the Newspapers. "It's impossible for me to live without newspapers", is few of the countless statements which can be made by those people. Now, i am aware about these things for the reason that i was one of those before some time, precisely, when i was in Kota, I didn't give a damn to anything until i got my TOI.

Well, we always think (and are still thinking) that these rag -people do a very good thing by giving us all those news which we read, but if someone asked me to guess those peoples who can be unaware of all the things happening in the state, then my answer, without any dilly-dallying would be none other than – The Mediapersons. The biggest reason: They are so keen in finding other news around the nation that they forget about the news which they themselves brought few moments earlier. They literally have nothing to do with the news they brought just now. And yes, if we think doctors are the only one who can see deceased-bodies very easily, then once again, mediapersons take the lead here. Once again the same reason: They really don't care! What if those people are dead, what did i gain or lose? – Nothing. Then why should i care! Obviously, they are quite correct. This is the mentality of almost all the mediapersons. And nevermind, they were the same from decades, obviously except very few – which can be said 'extinct'. It's very easy for them to speak like: "fifty people dead", or "five hundred wounded";

I was recently watching a TV interview of Aamir Khan with a journalist (who i am sure was in a different news channel the last time i saw him) in a sort of 30 minutes show. One of the annoying things which i saw in that interview was that the journalist was never interested in listening in the answers which Aamir Khan gave, rather, he was searching for the next question which he can impose on the actor as soon as he finishes his present answer. But yes, he keenly listened to those answers in which he can cross question the star. Seriously speaking, these guys are one of the emotionless living being in the universe. "Sorry to interrupt you sir... but what is...", is something which we will frequently listen in any shows, but think again... are they really sorry to break off? The answer is an utter NO, without any doubt.

Remember 'tehelka'? These are those guys who, the first time in Indian history took a secret camera and wedged someone taking bribe; Actually, they themselves were the people who gave bribe, i don't know whether what they did was correct or not, but yeah, this became a sort of tendency after that, if some channel's not getting good news, the best thing to do is to go to any government establishment (obviously with a secret camera) and give the concerned guy a huge amount of money as inducement – there you go! Now we have a Breaking News for our channel, awesome. Well, now these guys are also too smart!! And so the news-people are not really able to get these footage now-a-days. So what to do now – yes, lets make a show like 'movie masala', and also another show in which we can give an account of all the saas-bahu serials going on today, eureka, our news channel is really growing. And if people are bored from this too – compile news with the topic 'end of the world' and show it 3 times an hour. Now who'll stop this channel from mounting!!

Well, almost all of us are now sentient of the fact that this is what is happening from many years, and the biggest quandary – people like this too, which gives a boost to news channels putting these stuffing more. But as we say, lotus is very easily able to grow, in spite of all the mud around it, in a similar way, we have our conventional Doordarshan, the best channel all across, with no intension of escalating its TRP, it still stands alone and unique with its quality and true news, and therefore, we can very easily say that – yes we can rely on you. So, give away your dilemma and catch up with the latest flick in Doordarshan, that's all i can say!!

Tips And Tricks!!

Well, in this case i am talking about your computer, you can obviously be a little smarter from your mates by doing some very simple things. There are few tricks which i can tell you:

Temporary files can make a hell lot of problem for you, you can minimize it to zero very easily and after that, just no need to bother about it. After you follow these simple steps, windows will automatically delete all the temporary files as soon as you start up your computer. Here are those steps:
1: Create a folder SysImp in for system drive (It generally is C:\ in most of the cases}.
2: Now open notepad, you can do this by:
2.1: Searching it somewhere in the start menu.
2.2: Or by opening 'Run' (Press windows key + r to open it, or you can see it directly as soon as you click on start button, if you use xp) and then typing in it : 'notepad.exe' or only 'notepad' (without
the quotes).
3: Now in the notepad text box, write:

"cd C:\

Users\%username%\

AppData\Local

Rmdir /S /Q Temp"

without the double quotes and replace the 'username' with the username of your system.

4: Now save it with the name "tempclean.bat" this time WITH the double quotes and at the folder which you just created (sysimp).
5: Now open the scheduled tasks in the control panel (xp) or the task scheduler (windows 7) and set this program (tempclean.bat) to execute in every reboot.
6: There you go, you should no more bother about your temporary folders.

IF USING WINDOWS 7, YOU CAN DEcrease the shutdown time by doing some simple steps:

1: Open run, press windows key + r.
2: Now type regedit, this opens a registry editor window (after this, do exactly as written, as mishandling may lead to crashing of your system).
3: Now in the window, open HKEY_LOCAL_MACHILE, now move to SYSTEM, then move on to CONTROL, now see in the right side of the dialog box you will see WaitToKillTimeOutService. Right click and click on modify. Change the value from default 12000 (12 seconds) to 5000 (5 seconds). Close the editor and see yourself by shutting down your computer.
(Well, I recommend not decreasing the value less than 5000, as it can close many programs before it is saved.

Q: Then why the hell is it set to 12000? Will it not make problem to my system if I do this?
Ans: Well, thats because those Microsoft guys want to be at a safer side, and if you still think it can make problem, just reboot your computer and check the conditions of your system, if it doesn't look good, change it back to its original state! Easy.

A Thought About Nothing...

I still remember (although not exactly) that line in that famous book: Fundamentals of Physics, by ‘Halliday, Resnik and Walker’ which actually tried to explain the way earth originated... And I am, by birth much conscious about those topics:

Well... then the book started explaining things about how the big bang took place and how earth came into existence... anyway these things are good but the sentence above which is absolutely correct and contains nothing so special made me to think about it for that amount of time in which i would have easily been able to study the full chapter (I’ll discuss about this later in this post). :)

I can think about almost annnnnything whenever i am kind of sedative (‘nnnnnnn’ was to stress the word any !!) and the topic for that day was universe... how did it actually start, and where will it go eventually... well, then i thought about our galaxy and the solar system (offff...slow internet browsers are a hell lot of annoying to me :( ) and then about the species which occupied our habitat millions of years before our birth... the Dinosaurs, well, dinosaurs then mammoth and ultimately the humans...even we’ll be finished some day. Now when all these comes to my mind, i just think that why the hell are we doing what we are presently doing... our significance in this whole universe is less than nothing... or mathematically, less than even h% (for non-mathematicians, ‘h’ is assumed to be the smallest ever number in magnitude, which has infinite ’zeroes’ after the decimal point and a ‘one’ written after it) well, we all are aware of our position... and even significance in this universe, so, still we think of being the first in class, doing a job with the greatest package, becoming a film star, helping the people more than Gandhi, becoming the greatest businessman of all time, and all that stuffs... why? Will it really matter or bother you after you are dead... i don’t think so. Now if you answer that you do it for your future generations than you toh were not able to understand me.


And to all those believers of god, (before going any further, i would like to say that even i believe in god and question that follows is for me too) please tell me where actually was he when there were dinosaurs swirling around the globe; or there were ‘dinosaurs god’ at that time, who weren’t able to do anything when they became extinct? All these questions make even me feel the nothingness of god. Oh god... please answer these questions before people lose faith in you!


Even our science is not so good that we go to search the places for more lives in the universe. And each scientist has his own views on what is beyond the universe... well, everything has an end, but what about the universe? What is beyond it? Solid matters packed or nothing? Nothing means vacuum and if it is so, why isn’t it counted IN the universe, no one will be able to think something which contains nothing... not even vacuum, it sounds absurd, but that IS the thing beyond the universe, and if our universe was a small lump of heavily dense matter some time ago, it makes me easier to think, but still without any answer. Samajh me nahi aata hai ki ye saale scientists aakhir kar kya rahe hain :)

So, here am i with some more geekish things... not actually geekish for all, especially for them who generally twitter and all those things!!

Most of you would have seen messy urls like the one when you use your orkut account, or facebook, or going so deep in wikipedia, or something sorta... what if you want to share that laaaaaaaaaarge url with your friends, especially what if you wanna write that url into his hand or his register (with his pen... :) anywys, that dosent matters), so here the problem comes, so no need to fear when i'm here !!!, just go to:

and in no time, they will shorten your url and give you a shorter version which will, obviously be very easy to write in a register or hand or nywher u like. enjoy!!

The "conio.h" Problems ::

Well, to be frank, i dont have a good internet connection that i can always go to any one of the it discussion forums and clear my programming doubts, instead i am a kind of lazy person, so i always use the 'default' thing, i mean google, and after all, i assume that the problem which i am facing now would have been really faced by someone or the other while he was a newbie in programming. And fortunately, my assumption always goes correct. That's something good.

Anyways, when i switched myself from Boroland C++ to the Dev version, the biggest problem i faced was of the conio.h header file, someone who is just aware of programming will surely know what exactly i am talking about. This header is just a part of the boroland thing and is never a standard one, so if you want to use one, you must either download it or just use its replacements:

you can use

and for

getch();

you can use

std::cin.get();

although you may not feel much comfortable with the getch replacement, clrscr replacement will help you in the same way as did the original command.

There's a religious battle amongst computer scientists regarding the use of the goto statement. Some say yes, some say no -- it is possible that the use of gotos can make code unbelievably difficult to read. The term spaghetti junction is used to describe confusing code that is written with goto statements. I won't say that I'm for or against it. I use it sparingly and I use it when I see that it is fit to do so.

I did a test by placing 3 viruses into a ZIP file and upload to VirusTotal for scanning. FileAdvisor wasn’t able to scan compressed file because it reports “no virus found“. As for the rest, it only reports 1 virus and not 3.

The College

Manipal Institute Of Technology or MIT as it is called by students here. This is actually my college, now since i am in this college, i am bound not to speak anything bad for it, and anyways, i wont even speak, because on the wthole, i'll say that the college is good (well, everyone regrets they weren't in IITs) so, writing things like this college is the best, or like we have loosed nothing but IITs have loosed something by rejecting us is nothing less than a joke!! (you will find KIIT students repeating this slogans) but yeah, at-least some of us has the potential to compete with those guys (or even gals!!). And the ragging thing, sometimes i think there suspension of seniors as a step against ragging was something very fake, because as the senior's classes started, there was a notice in fine white photo paper hung in our notice board saying 16 students (mostly guys) are suspended from the institute, and what, as a punishment, they were debarred from the campus placements (well, is there any??) i dont think such a punishment is required at all. All the juniors at this time were seen like joyful, without thinking the literal meaning of the sentence. They will NOT get any job after they go out of the college, as graduates, and that to just because they slapped two or three first years!! Awesome, thats fantastic. There are many things in this college which really must be eradicated, but the system behaves as they never even saw that!! And doing something for a small deed was unexpected. But, still i'll surely say MY COLLEGE IS THE BEST ONE voooho!!!

SR Sir, The Ultimate Teacher

Well, to start, i must say that when we compare anything, we do compare it with any absolute thing, which does not change with time, and it applies everywhere! Similarly, one of those absolute thing is SR sir, who dosent change with time, and will never ever change in future too!!

He is the one who has got passion, he teaches as if someone prays to god or kind of!

I mean there is something he is got which lacks everywhere, and probably we cant find any teacher like him outside the country too!!
